Is CBadge legit?+
Yes! CBadge & Hemp Temps have been in business since 2013 and have matched thousands of jobs across the United States. All screening is 100% FCRA compliant.
Who can get a CBadge?+
Anyone aged 18 or older in one of our supported states can order a badge — no prior industry experience required.
Badges & Background Checks
What does the background check cover?+
Every badge includes an SSN trace with associated counties, national criminal databases search, sex offender list search, domestic watch list search, and identity verification.
What is the difference between Support and Manager badges?+
The Support badge covers entry-level positions such as trimmers, budtenders, and front desk personnel. The Manager badge is a deeper screening for managerial and higher-responsibility roles.
How long does the process take?+
Background checks are processed as soon as you complete the questionnaire. Once approved, your personalized badge is mailed to your requested address within 5–7 business days.
Does my CBadge expire?+
Badges can be renewed at any time — renewals cost less than new badges, and replacements for lost or damaged badges are just $25.
What if my background check is denied?+
You receive a confidential background check summary either way. Results are never shared publicly — only you decide who sees them.

Can CBadge help me find a job?+
Yes — our partner company Hemp Temps has connected employers to qualified cannabis professionals since 2013. Once badged, download the Hemp Temps app to get matched with temp and permanent jobs in your area.
Do employers recognize CBadge?+
Yes! CBadge is trusted by cannabis employers nationwide. Many companies prioritize candidates who arrive pre-screened and badged.
Will CBadge guarantee me a job?+
While a CBadge enhances your employability, we cannot guarantee job placement. However, you'll have access to cannabis job listings through the Hemp Temps app and a credential that helps you stand out.

Yes — all screening is conducted in compliance with FCRA guidelines and state-specific regulations. Cannabis laws vary by region, and it is your responsibility to comply with local regulations.
Do some states require their own background check?+
Yes. Certain states (Colorado and Oklahoma) require you to purchase a state license and undergo a background check with their own cannabis regulatory agency in addition to industry screening.
